HPI R40
I have acquired another R40 03 version and did some work to it as a winter project. Being quite attached to it makes
it very hard to sell. It features some of the HPI upgrades as well as the 3racing purple alloy parts. I have gotten rid of
the stock phillips screws and opted for the RC Screwz kit. This particular kit was ment for the MTX4, but since my LHS didn't
have the R40 version I used these - they work just fine. The alloy items are actually lighter than stock by a few grams or
so. They are more durable and well worth the money. This will be my main TC for 07 racing.
Mugen MRX4
This is my Mugen MRX4 I bought a while back. I've grown with this car into the world of 8th onroad circuit racing and
it's a blast to drive. It too will be featuring new items that shock in these pics.
Kyosho US Sports STR
This is the Kyosho US Sports RTR truggy. The STR (pro) version is the fully updated kit as is based off the 777 chassis
while the RTR is based off the 7.5. It features some new upgrades to the older 7.5 version kits and is quite durable. It comes
with a MX-3 AM digital radio labled as a Kyosho Perfex radio to add quality to the kit rather than include a cheap radio with
bare minimum fuctions. The stock engine provides ample power, but I'd recommend an aftermarket exhaust system and run with
30% fuel to make this motor shine.
Tamiya TL01
Here are some pics of my Tamiya TL-01 in the snow. I have a spike ESC, Monster HP motor w/motor accessories
and run 2400NICD packs on it. Running now is an Novak 410DM ESC, Trinity 11x2 D5 flatliner and GRP foams. Still undecided
if I'll purchase the TL-01 upgrades off Tower Hobbies for a inexpensive spring project or go with a new TC for onroad fun.
Regarless this is a great bashing car.
